FAITH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH is a gathering of Christians with power and potential. We grow together through weekly worship, daily prayer, and service to others.
Our Mission Statement is simply to recognize Jesus in all people by accepting, caring and sharing God’s love as we serve the world through our community.
All are welcome to participate in worship, group studies, and events at the church. Dress comfortably for worship – jeans or shorts are fine. Jesus usually wore sandals.
Yes, there is room for you here at Faith United Methodist Church. Worship begins at 10:30AM. We welcome you!

Faith United Methodist Church was organized in 1979 and began worshiping at Cherry Park, later moving to Sweetbriar Elementary School. In 1982, the Charter Members of Faith purchased a 7 acre parcel of land. The tract, an egg and dairy farm, belonged to Jack Elmer of Heidi’s Swiss Village and JaCiva Bakery and Chocolatier in Portland. Jack, a man with a big heart negotiated a deal with the church that enabled them to include a beautiful home on the property to be used as the sanctuary, church office and parsonage. Construction on the church building began soon after and the first worship service was held in the sanctuary in 1992.
